Quality Over Quantity
In the fitness industry, it's common to see classes packed with 20 or 30 people. While this might create a high-energy atmosphere, it often sacrifices safety and technique. At Pilates at Sarah's, we intentionally keep our group reformer classes small (maximum 8 participants). This boutique approach ensures that every client receives the attention, correction, and guidance they deserve.
Personalized Attention and Safety
Pilates is a discipline of precision. Being slightly out of alignment can change an exercise entirely, rendering it ineffective or even risky. In a small class, our instructors can closely monitor everyone's form, provide hands-on tactile corrections, and ensure that you are moving safely and effectively. You are never just a number in the back row.
Tailored Modifications and Progressions
Every body is different, and what works for one person might not work for another. With small class sizes, instructors have the bandwidth to offer personalized modifications for those managing injuries, or advanced progressions for those ready for a deeper challenge. The class adapts to you, rather than you having to adapt to the class.
Fostering a Supportive Community
Small groups naturally foster a supportive, intimate environment. You get to know your instructors, and just as importantly, you get to know your fellow members. This sense of community makes the studio a welcoming space, increasing accountability and making your workouts something you genuinely look forward to attending.
